Privacy Policy
Stoplark · Last updated: October 12, 2026
Stoplark is made by Jiří Chochlík, an individual developer ("we"). This policy says what the app keeps on your phone, what leaves it, and why.
What stays on your phone
Your routes and stops, with their addresses, names, phone numbers, gate codes and notes; your address book; and what the app remembers about places you delivered to. There is no account and no sign-in. Labels you scan and photos you pick are read on the phone and never leave it. Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can back up your data to a file you keep (Settings → Backup → Back up to Files). The file goes where you save it; we never receive it.
What leaves your phone
- Addresses you look up. To find a stop on the map, the address you type, paste, import or scan goes to Apple's map services, under Apple's privacy policy.
- Stops you navigate to. When you start navigation, the stop goes to the navigation app you pick (Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze), under that app's privacy policy.
- Coordinates of your stops and your position. When the app works out driving times by road, it sends our routing server the coordinates of your stops and of the route's start, which is your position when the route starts where you are. With them goes the random app user ID that tells the server which plan you have. It sends no addresses, names, phone numbers or notes.
- Purchases. You buy through Apple. RevenueCat, the service that tells the app which plan you have, receives a random app user ID and your purchase history. It never receives your name, e-mail address or routes.
- Crash reports. When the app crashes or something fails, it sends a report to Sentry: the error, the app and iOS versions, the phone model, a random ID of this installation of the app (it tells us how many phones a crash affects, and reinstalling the app makes a new one), your plan and the screens you went through. The app puts none of your stops' details in it, and before the report leaves, it removes the addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and coordinates that it recognizes in the error.
- Apple Ads. The app passes Apple's attribution token to RevenueCat, whether or not you came from an ad. Only if you found the app through an Apple Ads campaign does the token say which ad it was, so we can tell which ads work. It doesn't track you across apps or websites.
RevenueCat and Sentry process this data for us, under their own privacy policies. Our legal bases: providing the app you asked for, and our legitimate interest in fixing what breaks.
What we don't do
No ads in the app. No selling or sharing of your data. No tracking across other companies' apps and websites. No account.
Your choices
- Location, camera and notifications are optional. iOS asks before the app can use them, and you can turn each off in the Settings app → Stoplark.
- You can ask which data we hold about you and have it deleted. Write to us as below.
Children
Stoplark is a tool for drivers and isn't directed at children under 13.
